The company was formed in 1965 to carry out commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning installations and maintenance. The experience acquired in that length of time has enabled Polar Pumps Ltd. to understand the needs of the industry and in 1988 to take the step of also designing, manufacturing and marketing a comprehensive range of refrigerant handling equipment to handle all refrigerants at this time we also opened our training establishment which is a Construction Skills (Formerly CITB) and City & Guilds approved training and assessment centre offering a wide range of courses for the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Electrical Industries.
Polar Pumps Ltd. is on the Official Defence Contractors List with its products NATO codified. As a member of the British Refrigeration Association and Institute of refrigeration they are committed to offering the best service to the industry.

Polar Pumps Manufacturing facility and training centre is conveniently located south of Doncaster close to A1M, M1, M18, M62 motorways and the main railway lines. It covers an area of 7000 sq.ft housing design, manufacturing, assembly, stores, testing, offices, lecture rooms and 'hands-on' tuition workshops.
